The Grand Trawler 62 is the result of BENETEAU’s collaboration with Massimo Gino (Nauta Design) and Amedeo Migali (MICAD) and makes excellent use of the features of the highly successful Swift Trawler range of practical and spacious boats with significant cruising range, and Groupe Beneteau’s experience in luxury yacht production. The Grand Trawler 62 has a distinctive deep draft hull designed by MICAD with the aim of improving cruising range and efficiency, making long-haul cruising easier for owners. The yacht measures 18.95 metres (62′) in length and over 5 metres (16’5″) in hull width. The yacht is designed to accommodate 6-8 people (+ crew) and has an impressive open steering bridge – one of the largest on the market. Comfortable and seaworthy, with a 1050-mile cruising range and a central raised saloon, it is ideal for slow cruising for those who prefer a brisk getaway and introspection, or for leisure.

EXTERIOR

The Grand Trawler 62 has a distinctive hull designed by MICAD with the aim of improving cruising range and efficiency, allowing owners to embark on long cruises more easily. The boat is 18.95 metres long and has a hull width of over 5 metres. Designed for 6 to 8 people on board (+ crew), the boat has an impressive flybridge – one of the largest on the market.

INTERIOR

The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The kitchen is fully enclosed. The VIP cabin at the bow offers considerable ceiling height, making you feel like you’re in a hotel suite. With very spacious interiors, similar in capacity to much larger yachts and cleverly designed, these boats also have plenty of room to comfortably accommodate a crew. Satin-finished waxed wood, leather and elegant textiles create a stylish interior and exterior carefully designed by Nauta Design experts. The owner’s suite in the central part of the boat cleverly makes the most of the width, so you really feel like you’re in a hotel suite.

MAIN POINTS

Since the 2023 model year, all BENETEAU watercraft are equipped with the Seanapps module. It is a convenient solution that allows you to remotely monitor your vessel via an app. And not only that! Additionally, it is possible to grant access to the boat dealer and arrange, for example, maintenance, warranty, and other related services.

LAYOUT

Steering bridge/ Bow bridge

Wide side aisles lead to a large sunroof with adjustable headrests, belt rack and spacious fender storage compartments.
Well-equipped wheelhouse with two cockpits, sunpad in front, L-shaped seat on starboard side and stairs between the interior floors.
Large U-shaped seat and folding table for eight people
The L-shaped “wet bar” is well organised and inward-looking, allowing for excellent social interaction.
The back of the flybridge is a great area to install two sun loungers and a crane.
Flybridge has a T-roof with hatch, a bimini canopy at the rear and solar panels.

Main deck

The swim platform has a proper swim ladder with handrails, a step/rail facing backwards and the possibility to install a lifting platform with integrated folding stairs.
Large and well-protected side walkways, side lights in the kitchen and steering compartment, gates on the protective walls and stairs to the flybridge for indoor and outdoor use ensure safe and comfortable movement.
A central raised steering station offers great views, a relaxing deckchair on the left and the option of a passenger seat for a pleasant cruise.
Functional and fully equipped kitchen, separate from the living area.
The saloon has a spacious and comfortable U-shaped seating area with a sea view. An optional right-hand sofa adds further cosiness.

A well-protected open rear cockpit with a transparent safety barrier and extra wide rear gates to the swimming platform create a beautiful “terrace to the sea”.

Bottom deck - 3 cabin layout

The full-beam owner’s cabin in the centre of the boat offers ample storage space, with a make-up table to the left and a spacious private bathroom to the right.
Front VIP suite with an island bed, facing right, offering spectacular views and equipped with a private bathroom.
The third cabin has two single beds, which can be converted into a double bed, and has a separate door to the day room.
Dual-purpose toilet and shower room separated from crew cabin.
Completely separate air-conditioning and heating systems can be installed to ensure geographical autonomy.
