With the new First 44 model, BENETEAU offers the most authentic offshore racing yacht, elegant and comfortable, offering an exceptional sailing experience. Roberto Biscontini has made a number of changes and improvements to the design, keeping in mind his scientific approach honed through his work with American Cup racing yachts. The end result is a powerful and well-balanced hull with a large sail plan, offering a smooth ride in all conditions.

EXTERIOR

On board the First 44, the cockpit is very pleasant – with a nice cockpit table and seamless access to the wide and open board deck. Four winches, a fixed centre-line block for the mainsail and a mast positioned aft maximise the potential of the modern sail design, characterised by a narrow mainsail and large foresails. Two 350-litre ballast tanks, which can be electrically operated directly from the steering consoles, help to maintain the boat’s maximum performance. With a truly scientific approach, which he took from his experience in the American Cup, Roberto Biscontini carried out a series of simulations and iterations to create a powerful and well-balanced chassis. Combined with a large sail area, this means that the First 44 is lively and efficient in all conditions.

INTERIOR

The First 44 offers a modern and light-filled interior design, skilfully combining white lacquered surfaces, moulded wood details and tasteful upholstery. With three cabins and two toilets, the interior design is created with high quality finishes and materials to achieve an elegant and refined atmosphere. In the saloon, a cross-legged table seats up to six people and is located opposite the sofa and navigation desk. Its position in relation to the mast allows for easy movement between the galley and the owner’s cabin, increasing the feeling of spaciousness.

Since the 2023 model year, all BENETEAU watercraft are equipped with the Seanapps module. It is a convenient solution that allows you to remotely monitor your vessel via an app. And not only that!
