EXTERIOR

A whole new sailing experience opens up when you can reach double-digit boat speeds with ease and in complete control. The key components that make this possible are the light weight and the world-class marine design by Sam Manuard. A highly precise and ergonomic steering system is also crucial. With racing-grade rudders, the steering wheels remain light and direct, even when gliding downwind or sailing at a high gradient. Staying true to Beneteau’s 40-year heritage, First should be great for full-crew club races, relaxing family holidays and small-crew sailing. One of the main focuses of the design process was the ergonomics of the cockpit. The higher rudder position gives the helmsman direct access to the mainsail winches – an important detail when sailing with a small crew.

INTERIOR

The First 36 has a traditional three-cabin layout. In order to maximise living space in the saloon, the bathroom area has been reduced to a minimum by using an innovative folding basin. The space freed up in this way makes it possible to install a navigation desk or on-board office. Another innovation in the cabin is the separate fridge compartment. The removable cutting board can significantly increase the working surface of the L-shaped galley, making it the largest kitchen area in its class. High-quality wooden details combined with minimalist GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) create a modern and elegant living space on the deck area.

Since the 2023 model year, all BENETEAU watercraft are equipped with the Seanapps module. It is a convenient solution that allows you to remotely monitor your vessel via an app. And not only that! Additionally, it is possible to grant access to the boat dealer and arrange, for example, maintenance, warranty, and other related services.
