The First 27 offers fun and modern downwind gliding thanks to its modern design and construction technologies. The interior of this small cruiser can accommodate up to 6 people and features a separate bow cabin, open saloon, galley with fresh water, fridge and separate classic sea toilet.

Very high stability, a non-submersible hull thanks to three compartments, an anti-collision section, an internal engine and balanced twin steering wheels ensure full manoeuvrability – all this makes safety one of its greatest strengths.

The reliable 15 hp internal combustion engine with simple shaft transmission and folding propeller ensures high cruising speeds, ease of use and low maintenance costs.

The First 27’s main promise and differentiation lies in its performance and unique sailing experience. She’ll surprise you time and time again, achieving glide in winds as low as 12 knots. The stable hull derives its stability from a wide and flat waterline and a lead T-shaped keel. An enlarged bow section hull with balanced double roller blades keeps you in complete control – whether you’re sailing upwind or gliding safely downwind. Ease of handling comes from the carefully considered boat design and cockpit ergonomics, whether you’re alone, with two or a full crew at sea. The sensation and excitement of gliding will become your daily sailing routine.

INTERIOR

Although it’s as fast as most racing sailboats, it offers a surprising level of comfort. The clean and minimalist light interior design incorporates all the comforts of life on board. The interior of the boat is designed to accommodate up to 6 adults – 2 in the bow cabin and up to 4 in the very bright open saloon, which is equipped with a removable table and fridge. In the centre is a galley with a gas stove and a sink with a fresh water tap. Thanks to clever folding magnets, the central compartment can be transformed into a decent sized seawater basin with a black water tank or used as an extension to the bow cabin. A large and open cockpit welcomes you with comfortable benches, a removable indoor/outdoor table and a stern with a swimming hole and shower.

MAIN POINTS

Since the 2023 model year, all BENETEAU watercraft are equipped with the Seanapps module. It is a convenient solution that allows you to remotely monitor your vessel via an app. And not only that! Additionally, it is possible to grant access to the boat dealer and arrange, for example, maintenance, warranty, and other related services.
