The First 27 SE brings high-tech performance, top-level racing and the best of the sailing community to the recreational sailor. The platform offers an exceptional sailing experience previously only available to professional racers. Sailors can challenge themselves in One Design’s long distance races, or enjoy high speed adventure cruises in the best sailing destinations, as the yacht can also be trailered.

Its excellent seaworthiness, which earned the boat a B category, is the result of the boat’s design, cutting-edge construction technology and a number of safety features: three separate submersible compartments, a turnbuckle system on landing, and an increased foredeck capacity with a bumper compartment.

Sailing at double-digit speeds is easier than ever. The First 27 promises an exciting and pure sailing experience. Its performance comes from a modern hull design and a lightweight yet rigid vacuum impregnated hull construction. A very high stability hull and deep lead-bulb keel easily carry a large square-rigged, square-rigged mainsail with carbon mast, without the need for sternposts or sliders. All that power is worth nothing if you can’t control it. Well thought-out cockpit ergonomics, a sliderless solution and a balanced double-sail steering system give sailors total control. Whether you’re sailing solo, as a twosome or with a full crew, the First 27 SE will reward you with an amazing sailing experience and pure joy under sail.

INTERIOR

The First 27 SE is the only 8-metre boat on the market with a B-category trailer and a fully functional interior. What may seem minimalist is in fact an extremely weight-conscious interior design, with all components also fulfilling the boat’s structural functions. The boat can accommodate up to 6 adults – two in the separate forward cabin and four in the saloon. The interior also offers crew compartments for personal belongings, a fridge, a folding table and a sailing locker. Combined with other practical features, this makes her a top-class adventure cruiser for sailing enthusiasts. All internal components are modular, allowing for quick interior unloading and weight reduction for racing.

MAIN POINTS

Since the 2023 model year, all BENETEAU watercraft are equipped with the Seanapps module. It is a convenient solution that allows you to remotely monitor your vessel via an app. And not only that! Additionally, it is possible to grant access to the boat dealer and arrange, for example, maintenance, warranty, and other related services.
